CAIR - Pulling the wool again!

CAIR is trying to pull a swift one. Millions of taxpayer money is available to non-profit organizations from the Department of Homeland Security. Money for what you say? Grant money to boost security, and right on cue not one but two letters show up threatening to "terminate" all muslims. The whine-o-gram describes the first letter, received by the Michigan chapter, as containing "violent pro-Israel and Islamophobic rhetoric and imagery." In addition to the usual CAIR lingo asking law enforcement officials, elected representatives and community leaders to "take these kinds of threats seriously and act accordingly," Walid encourages all islamic non-profit groups to "apply for recently-announced DHS grants to receive training and to purchase equipment such as video cameras, alarm systems and other security enhancements." Isn't that convenient? When this story didn't get picked up by any of the major media outlets, almost like magic a second letter turns up in Florida and seems to give the allegation a bit of traction, piggy-backing on the DHS grants report.

CAIR is the Jesse Jackson of the muslim community, always the victim. Since 9/11 they've been tracking "hate-crime" incidents against muslims in America, and try as they might, America as a whole is not a blood-thirsty, vengeful nation. The numbers aren't representative of the noise CAIR makes on a weekly basis, and they're concerned. An audio transcript of a speech given by Nihad Awad, CAIR Executive Director, at the ADAMS Center in Virginia on April 30th of this year. Awad expresses concern over low numbers and even more concern that the Jewish community have reported thousands of hate-crime cases verses a few dozen reported against muslims, believing the Jews are better at reporting discrimination cases than muslims.

It's a very telling speech and Awad knows without a victim CAIR has no reason to exist in America.
