Road to Victory Rally, Governor Palin in Chillicothe Ohio

An estimated 5000 people came out to the Ross County Courthouse in Chillicothe to see and hear Governor Sarah Palin. We arrived around 12:30 and the line to pass through the metal detectors was about 400 people long.

Once we received instructions from one of the secret service officers we were off to one of the security lines. I had to turn my camera and phone on, then after surrendering them to a security officer I passed through the metal detector.

Prior to Governor Palin's address we heard from a few local and state republicans imploring the crowd to support their bid for office and to elect John McCain the next president of the United States.
But the most honest and heartwarming testimony came from Colonel Tom Moe (above), a former POW who served with Senator McCain. Pointing out once again, the readiness of John McCain to lead this nation. Reassuring the crowd that John McCain is the one we need in the White House if an American president is going to be tested.

The above placards were signed by "Alaska's First Dude" Todd Palin.

Governor Palin acknowledging "Mark the stir-fry chef" and his friends.

The secret service could be seen on the rooftops all around the courthouse.

When Governor Palin finished her speech she exited the stage to "press the flesh" and sign autographs as did the "First Dude".

Now this photo shows you how close Nick was to the governor. The red arm you see there with the placards is Nick and just below his hand you can see the top of Sarah Palin's head. But alas, the SS moved her along quickly and she didn't grab the signs.

These two little ones caught the governors eye and she asked the secret service to take their picture and get their signs so she could autograph them for the girls.

No, this isn't a HOT secret service guy, it's the First Dude.

Guess where I'm going.......

Yes, that's right, Nick and I are going to the Governor Sarah Palin rally in Chillicothe Ohio. I just returned from picking up the coveted tickets from the republican HQ in Circleville.

It's an outdoor event and I was told I couldn't bring anything with me that couldn't go on a plane. So, I took the hairspray out of my purse and have my new Olympus camera battery in the charger. I've attached the super-zoom-in-lens and transferred/deleted the images from the memory card. Now all I have to do is locate an appropriate pair of boots and my gloves and I'm good to go!

We also have tickets for the "Arnold and McCain" event at Nationwide Arena on Friday. But in all honesty, I'm MUCH more excited about seeing and hearing Sarah Palin.

Hopefully I'll be able to get some good photos of the Governor and post them Wednesday evening upon my return. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must go and choose a pair of boots that will match my gloves.

It's always about race.....

I’ve been waiting for a whine-o-gram decrying the fake muslim hate-crime at Elmhurst College. Glad I didn’t hold my breath.

The only mention was this article comparing the racial bias in treating this fake with that of a minor in Palos Heights claiming she was raped by a muslim man. An advocate for the arab community, Shafic Budron offered the supposition “that if the tables were turned and an Arab student had been involved in the Palos Heights hoax, serious criminal charges would have been leveled against her, and her photo would have been shown.” Well, not exactly. You see the fake rape victim is a minor and her information regardless of race, religion or ethnicity is kept confidential. That’s the law.

I find it to be a common theme among muslim advocates, injecting race to garner public sympathy. Embellishing supposed hate-crime details is another tactic used by MSA, CAIR and the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, to name a few.

By hopping on the liberal PC gravy-train, muslims have found special treatment and rights are just a 911 phone call away. If you can’t-get-no-satisfaction, make sure to consult your handy-dandy guide to religious rights compiled by the self-appointed muslim mouth piece in America, CAIR. And make sure to log your hate-crime with the appropriate CAIR officials so it can make it into their annual crimes-against-muslims-in-America report.

Perpetrating this kind of trickery on a community does nothing but discredit your cause. And it’s a crime.

Just another fake muslim hate crime

UPDATE;

Last week I posted a tale of two hate crimes. Well today, Debbie Schlussel has the rest of the story. It seems Safia Jilani, the hate crime “victim” at Elmhurst College, was faking it and was charged with making a false police report.

CAIR came out the next day “calling on local, state and national law enforcement authorities to investigate an alleged armed assault on a Muslim college student in Elmhurst, Ill., as a hate crime.” Will CAIR be issued an invoice so the institution can recover the cost of beefed-up security? No! There will be no repercussion for their part in this hysteria.

I’ve posted things like this in the past where CAIR tried to inflame the ummah and in some instances seem to have been a part of the ruse. The supposed hate crime following the release of “United 93” in Arizona where 3 muslim women were verbally attacked. No evidence an assault occurred.

Just as loud as CAIR screamed last week for justice for this victim, their silence is just as deafening in their lack of condemning her method to further the islamic agenda in America. CAIR would gain credibility if they came out denouncing this woman and the obvious hate crime in Georgetown.

Again, a H/T to Debbie Schlussel for getting the word out!

A tale of two hate-crimes

Talk about hypocrisy, CAIR is calling on the FBI to investigate an alleged attack on a muslim Elmhurst College student as a hate crime. Prior to the attack, the victim claims anti-muslim graffiti, “kill the muslims”, was on the bathroom mirror.

It’s a familiar theme, anti-muslim graffiti and vandalism always preside the attack. Conflicting reports and the immediate “hate-crime” claims cloud the facts surrounding incident. But hey, that’s how CAIR does business. It’s really not about facts, it’s about getting results. And CAIR knows law enforcement and politicians don’t question racial assertions. So the accusation goes unchallenged. And just so you infidels don’t think this is an isolated incident, CAIR includes another anti-muslim story or two to hammer the point home.

On Friday, Debbie Schlussel posted a story about a real hate crime in Washington DC. Two Georgetown medical students were attacked by two muslims because they are gay.

Saad Elorch and Abdulgader Ruddad, both 19, targeted and taunted their victims, then assaulted one of them with a vodka bottle the two had been drinking from, and like Saad Elorch said, “if the two were in his country, they would be stoned to death”. Now this sounds like a hate-crime to me, how about you?

What CAIR needs to concentrate on is the obvious hate crime committed by two drunken, illegal alien muslims. Clean your own house first.

Where's the islamic Jimmy Hoffa?

JThe JBS Swift Company, in Colorado and Nebraska, has been at the center of a religious rights controversy. And CAIR is claiming this work walk-out to be a “grassroots Muslim labor movement in the United States” and predicts more on the horizon.

This holy terror month of ramadan has sparked an islamic labor movement. Because muslims have accepted employment hours that happen to coincide with prayer time, fast breaking and head-to-rug thumpin’, some American companies must bend and twist to accommodate this minority.

CAIR sees this as an opportunity to move islamic rituals into the American cultural mainstream. For decades religious minorities have adapted to our Christian culture. Jews, Mennonites, the Amish, Jehovah's Witness and atheist have accepted Christian holidays at work, school and in the public square without compromising their beliefs. A girl in my class since first grade would always go and sit in the library or office during classroom parties. She was a Jehovah's Witness. Was I sad for her? Yes, but it would have been much more tragic for the other 20 children to relinquish our cultural traditions. (And I can bet you her father never gave the Thanksgiving turkey or Christmas bonus back to his employer, you know, on behalf of his beliefs.)

For now “the disgruntled Muslim workers will continue working within the union to educate co-workers about their needs, rather than form a separate bargaining organization”. Christina Abraham, civil rights director for CAIR in Chicago, continued saying; “They shouldn't separate themselves from the other employees in requesting fair working accommodations," she said. "There hasn't been any kind of movement to create a Muslim workers union, because we feel this is an issue that potentially any employee of any religious background will face."

It’s the divide and conquer tactic. Most unions indoctrinate members to believe management is only there to oppress them. So the ummah will pull out all the stops to “educate” fellow union members, convince them that they too have a stake in their plight against “the man”. Then they'll all be head thumpin', fast breaking Mecca praying fools, because they collectively "stuck it to the man".

This just a small step, but the ummah takes every victory and moves toward the next battle.

The entire article is here, I suggest reading. It touches on other union battles and the woman behind this push for equality, Kim Bobo.
