Danish freedoms 1 - Crazy muslims 0

"The linkage drawn by the Danish court ... could create a precedent for exacerbation of Islamophobia."

The OIC has warned us, this ruling will fuel riots, demonstrations and a murdering rampage across the middle east and Europe. In a reaction to the coming islamophobia, of course.

After a Danish high court ruled in favor of newspaper Jyllands-Posten, the OIC claims this could provoke islamophobia. In a well reasoned statement the high court contends the editors did not break any laws and a relationship between violence and islam does exist, "It is a known fact that acts of terror have been carried out in the name of Islam and it is not illegal to make satire out of this relationship,".

The Saudi based OIC (sic) “islamic cartel”, issued a statement saying "The Danish ruling came as a surprise to the OIC at a time when almost all Western governments including the USA had made categorical statements rejecting any linkage between Islam and terrorism,".

Yes, just when you think the world is towing the dhimmi line, the truth and common sense rears its ugly head.

CAIR; fighting the unindicted co-conspirator label

News coming from the unindicted co-conspirator CAIR has been light this past week. I did however find a nugget of news that caught my eye.

In a Thursday whine-o-gram, CAIR highlights a report published in the WSJ. The article details the fight launched by the ACLU on behalf of 2 groups named in the Holy Land Foundation trial as unindicted co-conspirators. The Islamic Society of North America and the North American Islamic Trust are suing the American government. ACLU lawyers claim the government allegedly violated the Fifth Amendment in providing no explanation for its description of them as unindicted co-conspirators. The organizations argue that, under Fifth Circuit law, “no legitimate governmental interest is served by an official public smear of an individual when that individual has not been provided a forum in which to vindicate his rights.”

As I read over the memo filed on behalf of the NAIS and NAIT one word stuck out, waqf. The term was used to describe the North American Islamic Trust, stating
'Petitioner NAIT, an Indiana non-profit corporation, is a “waqf,” which is “the historical Islamic equivalent of an American trust or endowment.” Declaration of Muzammil H. Siddiqi, Chairman of NAIT, dated June 17, 2008, and attached hereto as Appendix B (“Siddiqi Decl.”), NAIT holds in trust titles to mosques, Islamic centers, schools and other real estate belonging to Muslim communities across this nation, enabling these communities to safeguard and pool their assets in accordance with Islamic principles and U.S. Petitioner NAIT also develops Islamic financial products that address the investment and financial needs of the American Muslim community; it has established and sponsored SEC-registered mutual funds that invest in companies on U.S. stock exchanges that comply with Islamic principles.'

Now, I don’t want to rehash the Holy Land Foundation trial, the posts of my opinion are here, here, here and here. What I find interesting is all islamic property in America is, for all intents and purposes, held by this organization. All islamic centers, mosques and schools belong to the muslim community. This tactic enables the ummah in America to strengthen their collective wealth. And there’s power in wealth.

CAIR; keeping the ummah apprised of their rights!

Here we go again, just in time for the summer travel season! CAIR, the unindicted terror coconspirator, felt it was time to agitate the ummah by informing them that their rights are being violated.

The current issue involves TSA body scanners placed at several US airports. CAIR believes these body scanners reveal intimate body parts to screeners and as we’ve all been beaten over the head told, islam is not only the religion of peace but of modesty as well.

The CAIR whine-o-gram informs the ummah of their right to refuse and “In the meantime, it is important that you know that you have the option to request a pat-down by a security officer of your gender in a private room instead of going through the body-scanning machine.”

You see, the American government has only one responsibility, to keep us safe. But in our in the current politically correct atmosphere the likelihood that a muslim, especially one in full islamic garb, would actually be selected by TSA for additional scrutiny is very unlikely. My second generation Italian husband has been selected for additional screening since 9/11 as Ahmed and Mohammad walk on by to pick up their shoes.

The democrats keep telling us we’re hated around the world. So I propose we take the last few steps to complete global loathing and adopt the Israeli airport security techniques. No nation is more hated than Israel and the safest airline in the world is El Al.

Lets go for it!

CAIR in Mecca

CAIR, the unindicted terror coconspirators, announced in a Friday whine-o-gram that a few members took part in an interfaith dialogue meeting in the holy city of Mecca. This initiative, by Saudi King Abdullah, plans to bring together adherents of “other monotheistic faiths”. However, preparing the islamic world for this fairytale groundbreaking venture is proving a hard sell to the terrorist among them.

In a speech kicking off the conference, King Abdullah called to “get muslims on the same page” before launching this landmark endeavor, urging reconciliation between sunni and shiite. But the goodwill ended when participants were seated. Iranian politician Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, seated to the left of Abdullah, spoke warmly of his host, highlighting the political divide between their nations delivering pointed criticism of America. He accused “the U.S. of greedily trying to control the region's oil and said Muslims should resist it.”

This is a wonderful idea, in theory. Getting all these muslims to agree on the time of day is difficult enough without throwing Jews and Christians into the mix. What I can’t figure out is CAIR’s role in this assembly of extremists. The whine-o-gram reveals very little regarding the forum and highlights attendees Larry Shaw (NC state assemblyman -D) and CAIR’s co-founder Nihad Awad.

This statement from the CAIR email; “Conference attendees are discussing the legitimacy, objectives, themes, and methodology of interfaith dialogue from an Islamic perspective, in preparation for expanded outreach to other faith groups”, on it’s surface seems like a genuine gesture towards peace. I may be cynical but this sounds like a strategic mission statement for the islamic warriors worldwide.

Sayin' good-bye to an old friend....

I’m selling my beloved Camaro. It’s become painfully apparent she’s going to need some work in the near future and I’m not ready to buy a new car just yet.

Nick drove my car to work this morning so his boss could get some pictures and take her for a test drive. He’s looking to purchase a car for his son. Once he knew my car was 7 years old with only 26,000 miles it was almost a done deal, sight unseen.

We were asking $10,000.00 and Nick just emailed me with his counter offer of $9,500.00, we’re going to take it. I would only get about $6000.00 on a trade in depending on what I was buying.

So, instead of opening the door to my garage and seeing this.....

I'll be seeing only one Camaro. Red is my least favorite color, but I think I can suffer for a while until the 2009 Camaros are in the showroom next spring. I guess driving Nick's '02 Z28 for nine months won't kill me. I could be hoofin' it.

So long old friend....

Why does CAIR care?

I’m not quite sure what to make of this. In the Friday edition of the CAIR whine-o-gram, this article jumped out at me. Usually CAIR whine-o-grams contain news items and links that highlight CAIR reps as they opine on the topic sure to insult the ummah.

The story lacks any comment by CAIR reps and I have to wonder why the subject was included. If only to inflame the muslim community in America, pointing out the true intentions of the occupying crusaders, adding fuel to the fire of ‘war on terror’ conspiracies.

This report from Fallujah describes what many Iraqis call a "humiliating" attempt to convert them to Christianity. When marines handed out coins to a few citizens inscribed with the John 3:16 verse on one side and a question as to where they’d be spending eternity on the other.

The report would need to be twisted like a pretzel to fit any subject facing the American ummah where we are free to practice or not practice the religion of our choice. However, if you couple this with a British report, (H/T Dinah Lord) here and here, a wider picture begins to emerge. A couple of Christian evangelist have been threatened with arrest for committing a “hate crime” in the “no-go areas” of Birmingham.

For several years now, Debbie Schlussel has been reporting on the increasing demographic take over in Michigan by muslims. And it makes me wonder if there will come a time in America when it could be a crime to share your faith?
