Silent whine-o-grams, could CAIR finally be exposed?

The daily whine-o-grams have been silent in their HLF trial coverage. Putting a positive spin on the terror funding defendants is becoming an elusive task even for the masters of double-speak. Trial updates for "The Holy Land Foundation Trial: The Family's Perspective" website is straining as the bleak outlook becomes more apparent and the anti-Israel rhetoric is kicked up a notch.

Steven Emerson and the team at CounterTerrorism Blog continue to execute the "dot connecting" in this complicated case. In a "Supplement to Mainstream Reporting" Emerson uncovers the spider web uniting CAIR, hamas and the Holy Land Foundation.

Government prosecutors said they will call their last witness Monday and rest their case. The defense will use semantics to separate the organizations from individuals. Claiming if other people and groups were hamas entities, they would be listed on the U.S. Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Terrorists (SDT) as well. But none of the individuals included in HLF’s speaker’s list, the zakat committees and their board members are separately designated on the SDT list. Using this tactic or loophole as a defense has worked in the Sami al Arian and Fawaz Damra case, who are tangled in this web as well.

Next week is going to be a PR nightmare as defense attorneys try and spin their clients to freedom.

Just dropping in to say hello. This was big news when the trial first started, but now I hardly see anything about it on the local news.

I'm amazed this trial is going unnoticed in the MSM. Our local paper, Columbus Dispatch, had zero coverage this weekend.

This is going have far reaching implications going forward. A lot of people are going to be revealed as having more to do with nefarious deeds when all is said and done.

Thanks for stopping by OCD-L-M.

PS, I made chicken and dumplings again over the weekend. We love it!

Well, the trial is right here (I'm not in Dallas, but only about 20 miles away) and they really haven't talked about it much since it began. When it first started they talked about it, but not now. I heard a lot more about the HLF a few years ago.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the C&D recipe. I should make those soon. I haven't made them in soooo long!
