Israel and palestinian peace talks

Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, is wasting time. Peace talks between Israel and the palestinian terror leaders will lead to nothing. Abbas, speaking at a ramadan fest breaking meal,
"I don't want 'peace at any price, but rather a peace as called for by legitimate international [UN] decisions." He then laid down some of his conditions: "There won't be a [Palestinian] state without Jerusalem... We want, without word games, an end to the conquest of the lands from 1967..."



And, Abbas also wants the "right of return" for those refugees living in camps (where host countries have refused to allow them to emigrate, instead freely providing them tarps and bags of flour, sitting idle waiting to use their house keys) since 1948. So much for this set of talks.



Is should be clear, these refugees and the terrorist who represent them don't want peace with Israel. If they did, Arafish would have taken the deal in Oslo. The victim mentality of the ummah garners more global financial support than actually creating a self-governing nation. When your GDP is young muslim men with bombs straped to their bodies its hard to acquire worldwide compassion. But the loony left has rationalized the suicide bombers plight as their only weapon against the Israeli war machine.

If the arab refugees and their descendants are allowed to return, it would be a demographic disaster for Israel's decreasing Jewish majority.

Also on the table, the future of Jerusalem. Abbas claims there can only be one capital for the palestinian state and that's Jerusalem. And it seems the Olmert government all to happy to hand it over to the terrorists.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Dutch Salman Rushdie

Would you be afraid of this murderer and his cohorts? Like other jihadis, they've stated their intention to murder you, in a five page fatwa plunged into the chest of Theo van Gogh.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali had just returned to the Netherlands, for (lack of) security reasons, when she was told to go back America, for security reasons. Dutch justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin told Hirsi Ali she was not in any "specific" danger in the US. The Dutch, unlike the British who continue to protect Rushdie, are ending their round the clock security regardless of her address.

For little over a year the former Dutch MP has been living in the US, working for American Enterprise Institute a Washington think tank. Like Salman Rushdie, another critic of the religion of peace, Hirsi Ali fears for her life. She has been under the protection of the Dutch government since the 2004 murder of Theo van Gogh by an offended, muslim immigrant on the streets of Amsterdam. A five page note stabbed into the film makers chest called for the murder of Hirsi Ali. The penalty for contempt of islam and their holy prophet …is death and nothing else.

In her book, Infidel, Hirsi Ali chronicles her life in Somalia, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kenya. The arranged marriage that took her to Europe and her escape to the Netherlands where Ayaan found freedom and broke the chains of islamic oppression. She recounts her rise to political prominence and her life after the murder of Theo van Gogh. In her quest to understand the culture and religion of her birth, Ayaan looked around and asked the question, why couldn't muslims govern themselves and create a functioning government if islam was the answer to everything, the one true path. It's a gripping read that keeps you turning the pages, I read it in 4 days.

A quick Google search will give you the headlines relating to this story from several countries. One such article is Hiiraan Online, a Somali news outlet. The article was short, reporting the basic information about one of Somalia's own. But the thing I found shocking was the comments attached to the article. They have a simple solution to the security issue facing Ayaan Hirsi Ali, renounce past statements criticizing islam and all will be forgiven.

Right, does anyone believe that?

It's quite disturbing when you read comments like these and hear muslim apologists repeat the standard mantra, islam means peace. How can you defend the tag-line, islam is tolerant, and have views like this in our face?

Banning Halloween, Christmas and Jell-O!

The slow erosion of American traditions and culture has made its way to the heartland. But parents in Illinois are standing up to an attempt to mainstream islam, via ramadan decorations.

America has one national holiday that is religious, that's Christmas. Other national holidays are secular and with the exception of Jehovah's Witness, are celebrated or recognized by most Americans regardless of their faith.

On the heels of an announcement by Oak Lawn schools banning pork items and Jell-O from the lunch menu to accommodate muslim students, that controversy is dwarfed by the Christmas and halloween debate. Wednesday evening, police had to be called to the Columbus Manor School to intervene in a shouting match among parents, tempers ran high over the issue.

The current debate stems from a request made by parent Elizabeth Zahdan. Zahdan wanted to decorate the school for ramadan. When her request was denied, the muslim community was crying foul, the solution, rename or eliminate traditional school holidays. Halloween will be the Fall Festival and Christmas will be Winter Break. Superintendent Tom Smyth said, "I go back to our policy which says that public schools are to remain neutral in this respect.", however, muslim students are allowed to pray during their lunch period. So much for neutrality.

Resident Bryan Schapiro argued that long-standing traditions are under attack."For a number of years now I've seen something change every year because it goes against Muslim beliefs," and "Traditions that have been beloved by children in America for centuries are now being taken away little by little because the Muslims want the school day, menu and social traditions tailored to their needs."
Is ramadan a holiday or an observance and what are ramadan decorations? A picture of food with a slash though it? Come on!

Only 30 percent of the district pupils are muslim, not the 50 percent cited by CAIR executive director Ahmed Rehab. Appearing on the Glenn Beck show last night, Beck asked Rehab about a comment he made describing the parents and residents; "Some of the locals don`t come across as incredibly educated. There`s Budweiser anger there." Rehad elaborated and came out and called them racist. I bet that comment won't be debated on the senate floor. There won't be a letter telling CAIR to fire Rehab or at least issue an apology for his remarks.

Beck had a great comment closing out the segment, "If we`re going to put foot baths in our schools for Muslim students, which we are in some colleges, we should be able to put the Ten Commandments in the front of our courthouse."

Why are we contorting ourselves to accommodate the 30% minority instead of demanding they assimilate to our cultural traditions. 70% is still a majority.

The answer to the homosexual issue in the islamic world!

I've seen this picture on several news broadcasts after the Iranian "nutter in chief" claimed Iran was a gay free country. Apologist for the RoP have said the two men, pictured here, were guilty of child molestation. Days later it was reveled they were in fact sentenced to death for the crime of being homosexual. What other religious doctrine advocates violence and murder, in this day and age? Their sacred texts are beyond reproach, followed without question. The "golden rule" is completely absent from islamic doctrine, nothing about loving the sinner and hating the sin.

I find this to be absolutely evil.



Where's the outcry from the terror front group in America? CAIR is silent. No "action alerts" advocating the a "fatwa" be issued denouncing the statement. Where is this muslim civil rights group? I want to know where they stand on this issue, I want to know if they'll protect the civil rights of gay muslims or do they support eliminating them from the ummah? Where's the outrage from these "moderate" muslims claiming to stand up form muslim civil rights?

Iranian "Tit for Tat"

Iranian lawmakers passed a non-binding resolution calling the American army and CIA, terrorist organizations. The parliament approved the decree today, which was clearly in response to the US Senate vote favoring a resolution urging the State Department to designate Iran’s islamic revolutionary guard a terrorist organization. But there could be another reason for such an empty action.

The nutter in chief and the mullahs, who really run the islamic state, are trying to save face. After the mild tongue lashing Ahmadinejad received at the hands of Columbia University president Lee Bollinger, the Persians are attempting to regain national and cultural pride. Ahmadinejad was insulted and like most muslims, needs to defend his honor or run the risk of looking weak among his countrymen and the ummah.

Shame, honor and revenge; islamic society is an extroverted society that operates within a triangle of values with three dimensions. Honor is the most important of the three and sometimes it is more valued than life itself. If honor is smeared the result is shame, which can only be erased through revenge. The process starts on the personal level and then shifts to the community or in this case the national level. Iranian honor has been disgraced and this decree is their revenge.

A culture that condones the murder of a raped daughter for shaming her family is capable of anything. I hope this meaningless declaration, against our military and CIA, will be adequate.

Ahmadinejad and islamic eschatology

The MSM was quick to run clips as Columbia University students booed and jeered the Iranian "nutter in chief" when he stated Iran doesn't have homosexuals. News outlets gave the clip a ton of air time, but sadly, we are once again missing the message.

Ahmadinejad is known as a "twelver" shi'ite muslim, a mahdaviat. Its derived from the word mahdi, arabic for "rightly-guided one," a major figure in islamic eschatology. In his 2005 and 2006 UN addresses he concluded both speeches with the following prayer;

O mighty Lord, I pray to you to hasten the emergence of your last repository, the promised one, that perfect and pure human being, the one that will fill this world with justice and peace.

I'm to curious to know why Ahmadinejad choose to begin his speech at Columbia (with the prayer) rather than putting it at the end as he did in his UN addresses.

Why the west needs to take note of this evil man. To be a mahdaviat means you believe and are active in preparing for the return of the mahdi. If you recall, in 2005, Ahmadinejad was telling colleagues that the end of the world was just two or three years away, and that the way to hasten the coming of the mahdi was to annihilate Israel and the US. That was two years ago and most of us don't seem to realize how central Ahmadinejad's shiite islamic eschatology is to Iran's current foreign policy and that's why we're missing how dangerous this regime really is. When the mahdi arrives on earth, shi'ite scholars say he will appear in Mecca and Medina, and then Kufa Iraq.

If the end of days predicted by the nutter, two years ago, is now upon us why is the Iranian government trying so hard to develop nuclear power while sitting on a pool of oil? Won't allah and the mahdi take care of the needs of the people once he returns? Surely it couldn't be for nefarious reasons, right? Ahmadinejad and the clerics wouldn't use the need for nuclear power as a cover to make a bomb to bring about the chaos necessary for the mahdi to appear?

Scott Peterson has a great article in the Christian Science Monitor. Waiting For the Rapture details the beliefs held by Ahmadinejad and other muslims. The scary thing about this whole thing is we don't have to believe it, Ahmadinejad does and that's all that matters.

News Alert! No Homosexuals in Iran!

This is according to the "nutter in chief" when asked about the abuse of women and homosexuals by the government of Iran. Ahmadinejad said, "We don't have homosexuals" in Iran. "I don't know who told you we had it,". This response elicited laughs and boos from the audience, much different than the rousing applause he received for his remarks on Israel and the plight of the palestinians. The absence of Iranian homosexuals is due in large part because they're locked up or stoned to death in the public square.

The "talk" was for the benefit of the Iranian people. I'm sure the opening statement by Lee Bollinger won't be broadcast to the Iranian populous. Bollinger called Ahmadinejad a "petty and cruel dictator" and he assailed Ahmadinejad's "denying" of the Holocaust as "ridiculous" and "dangerous propaganda." He accused the Iranian leader of either being brazenly provocative "or astonishingly uneducated." I believe he's simply evil.

In true nutter fashion, the answers were long winded and off track, never directly addressing the questions. Columbia University give him a platform from which he gave a completely ineffective presentation of the Iranian world view.

It'll be interesting to see how the dog and pony spectacle is viewed in Iran and across the middle east.

Ahmadinejad requests a visit to ground zero

Yesterday it was reported, the Iranian nutter in chief, said he wants to visit ground zero and lay a wreath in the "pit" where the World Trade Center twin towers once stood. Police commissioner, Ray Kelly acknowledged the request and stated it was still being reviewed. Later that day city officials said "Mr. Kelly had misspoken and that the decision had already been made, for security and safety reasons, that Mr. Ahmadinejad could not visit ground zero".

"Safety and security" reasons, who came up with this politically correct statement?

Ahmadinejad's desire to wipe Israel off the map and anti-Semitic rhetoric wasn't enough for the US state department to refuse his visa application. For a second time in as many years, the UN security council is lending credibility to his regime, giving him a world platform from which to slap the face of the American people. The world continues to allow him to operate, unmolested, as if these national goals are legitimate. The fact that he's the president of a nation whos been training islamic radicals to murder innocent men, women and children across the middle east has nothing to do with the decision to keep him away from sacred ground? I wish it did, I wish we could say what we mean and mean what we say. When did the American spine disappear?

On Monday, an Iranian website affiliated with the regime claims to have 600 missiles positioned to strike Israel and a dozen targets in Iraq used by the US military.

Far be it for the UN to grow a backbone at this point and reprimand the holocaust denier for his nuclear ambitions and thumbing his nose at the global community. I agree with Mitt Romney, Ahmadinejad should be indicted under the Genocide Convention and taken into custody once he steps off the plane. But that would entail the impotent world body to spring into action and enforce their own declarations.

It's 1939 all over again, we have a chance to nab "Hitler" and prevent another holocaust. Ahmadinejad has the blood of American heros on his hands, he must be stopped.

Pigs! Italy's anti-mosque weapon!

Does the thought of arabic calls to prayer, 5 times a day, being broadcast in your small town make you cringe? An Italian man has the answer so your city can be a "mosque" free zone.

Roberto Calderoli, a Northern League party senator, is calling for a "Pig Day" protest against the building of a new mosque in Bologna, Italy.

Mr. Calderoli and his pig claim once he defiled the property in Lodi, and the mosque was not built. The deputy speaker of Italy's Senate said, "I am making myself and my pig available for a walk at the site where they want to build the mosque," and in complete defiance stated he would eat "a nice plateful of pork chops to show my lack of sympathy for those who consider pork forbidden meat."
I wish this guy would run against Sherrod Brown (or George Voinovich for that matter) here in Ohio.

In an effort to help others facing a big minaret in their backyard, Calderoli said; "We could organise the 'pig day' as to say competitions and shows dedicated to the most beautiful pigs to be hold in the places where somebody thinks to build not a centre for religious activities but the potential centre of recruitment of a terror cells". This is much better than the alternative solution after the arrest of an imam last year for leading a terrorist training school from a mosque in central Italy. After the arrest, the Northern League called for all existing mosques to be closed for security checks.

As one would expect, the islamic community is offended and insulted by the remarks. Nonetheless, the senator is no stranger to controversy and is often accused of making racist comments regarding muslims. Last year he lost a ministerial post for wearing a T-shirt with cartoons of Mohammad on them.

Gotta love this guy!

The comments I posted are actually lyrics to a song by Darryl Worley , written after that fateful day when this great nation would forever be changed. My 9/11 post was going to be a recounting of my morning, a look back at where I was and what I was doing. In retrospect, what I was doing didn't matter. But I think this post says it all.
