I've been shamed...... by Malott

Yes, it’s true. The “old man” tried to embarrass me, Skye Puppy and to a lesser degree, Christina. And he had the nerve to praise Bekah in the same post. Why you ask? Well we haven’t been a source of enlightenment, news and entertainment. We’ve been neglecting our blog duties, and in my case, it’s true. Chris admittedly has nothing to contribute to the blog-o-sphere so he chooses to attack others. That’s alright, my shoulders are broad and I can take it.

So in an effort to salvage my reputation I’m posting a pictorial, since Bekah loves pictures. Topic; the vein of my new existence, inclement weather commuting in what I affectionately call the "C-bus".

Here we see a fellow commuter who almost rear-ended me. That or he was driving on the soft-shoulder just to say hello.

Yes, Columbus has plenty of heavy rescue vehicles but very few plows and salt trucks.

And we see why so many heavy rescue vehicles are needed......

I'm still here.....

Work is consuming much of my time these days and I either find myself reading blogs or attempting to compose one of my own. You have no idea how many are sitting in my queue unfinished and irrelevant at this time.

Debbie Schlussel continues to be one of the best islam watch blogs around. Timely and accurate, Schlussel reports from the biggest islamic hot spot in America. Check her out.

In other news, CAIR-LA wants the charges leveled against 11 students dropped after they protested disrupted a speech given by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren. Of course CAIR believes their religion caused these muslims to be detained. Check out the video of these asses. Yep, these muslims have a lot of class..... morons.

CAIR comes out against profiling, shocker!

CAIR’s Nihad Awad submitted an islam op-ed to the PR Newswire. It seems the unindicted terror co-conspirators are concerned about RoP faithful being singled out for extra scrutiny at the airport.


Pointing to the last time an infidel blew-up a building, Awad plays the Tim McVeigh card saying; “In 1995, after bombing the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City, Timothy McVeigh was able to flee while officers operated on the false theory that “Arab terrorists” had committed the attack.”

While I disagree with the good chairman’s position, Awad concludes by offering alternatives to strip searching the ummah before boarding a plane. The most effective being behavior analysis. El Al and the State of Israel have employed this tactic and have been successful in keeping the airways safe. Undercover agents and manned cameras combing the airport for would-be terrorists would be an effective addition to the TSA. I, for one, love to people watch and would jump at the chance to profile look for suspicious behavior.

CAIR and the ummah help the FBI

Hand-shakes and back-slaps all around CAIR’s Washington DC office. A media advisory whine-o-gram was issued on Wednesday announcing the unindicted terror coconspirator press conference regarding the missing muslim “yutes”. CAIR used this as a springboard to illustrate their patriotism, pointing to their cooperation with law enforcement and the FBI specifically.


I have quite a few thoughts on this “dog and pony show” CAIR, MAS, MPAC and imam Jahori abdul-Malik put on for the press. The families are called “courageous” for coming forward to report their missing “yutes”, the same suspects arrested in Pakistan on terror charges. Prior to the arrests, CAIR helped obtain legal counsel for these families while working with the FBI, to preserve their civil rights. This turned out to be an opportunity for CAIR to appear cooperative by a mere phone call to authorities. Nihad Awad has viewed the video and was “disturbed” by its content. Awad goes on to admit “problems” exist in the ummah and announced a major campaign to refute the misuse of koran verses and certain "grievances" in the muslim world. This campaign, of course, involves education. No details were given on what this would encompass or who is involved in teaching the new islamic world view to muslims residing in America.

In closing, these muslim leaders called for tolerance and not to rush to judgment. Citing the “cottage industry” who’ll seek to exploit this case and marginalize muslims. It seems to me, the ummah needs no help in perpetuating the bad PR around the world.

5 DC area muslim men missing

"Federal investigators are searching for a Howard University dental student and four other missing Muslim men reported missing from the Washington, D.C. area, the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has learned. There is concern they may have been sent abroad to train for jihad. The five were last seen November 29.

The identities of two of the missing men, Howard student Ramy Zamzam and Waqar Khan, have been mentioned in online postings, including a Facebook page that was set up Monday for friends to offer their support. Some of those pages, however, appear restricted to friends and associates.
It is not clear where the men are believed to have gone, but an informed source told the IPT that at least one left behind a farewell video."

And we all know what happens after those farewell, martyrdom videos are made.....

Grand Jury seeks CAIR records

This just in from the IPT. "Although no formal statement has been made by law enforcement, FBI agents reportedly issued a grand jury subpoena last week seeking internal CAIR documents that are the subject of an ongoing civil lawsuit."

RoP hijacking dry run

Debbie Schlussel has the details regarding another airline hijacking dry run on AirTran flight 297, Atlanta to Houston. This is becoming all to common and the faithful are emboldened by our weakness. America needs to wake up to the threat we face here at home.

Oh, this is rich! The unindicted terror coconspirators have an islam-oped comparing Thanksgiving to Eid al-Adha. Nihad Awad is having the resident spin-doctor, Ibrahim Hopper; pedal this garbage to the uninformed hoping to shine a gentler light on the RoP.

For CAIR to compare the festival of sacrifice to Thanksgiving is beyond hubris. For the record, Abraham wasn’t asked to sacrifice Ishmael as is islamic tradition.

Using the pay-to-play news service, Hopper submitted Awad’s work hoping to have it hit the editorial pages just in time for Thanksgiving. The comparison ends with the relative coincidence that the two dates share proximity. While 97% of Americans will be feasting this Thursday, muslims will be fasting.

This from Awad; On Friday, Muslims in America and worldwide will celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Adha, or "festival of the sacrifice." "Eid" also commemorates the Prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael at God's command. The holiday is celebrated with prayers, gifts for children, distribution of meat to the needy, and social gatherings. You may hear the greeting "Eid Mubarak," or "have a blessed holiday."

And you know Thanksgiving and Eid al-Adha are now sharing the same spiritual and social space when Best Buy, for the first time, puts a "Happy Eid Al-Adha" in its "Black Friday" newspaper insert. (BTW, Janice will never, ever patronize Best Buy again)

As with Thanksgiving, Eid al-Adha is a time when everyone counts their blessings and offers thanks for friends and family, even if circumstances may not be the best in any particular year.

Being raised between two faiths, it always irked me when people would say Chanukah was the Jewish Christmas when ever it happened to fall at the end of December. The association ends there. Once again CAIR is trying to bind their beliefs to our traditions. If they want to be included in the Christmas tree lighting convert to Christianity don’t called it a holiday tree for the sake of inclusion. I'm just sayin'......

Blogging will be light....

Wow, it’s been a whirlwind of activity for me and I’m here to tell you what’s transpired.

First, I’ve been actively seeking employment for past month. The part-time gig I had wasn’t challenging and I felt my talents were being exploited and wasted. Double digit unemployment here in the Buckeye state and I was able to secure a position with a pharmaceutical company. I start on Monday.

Secondly, Nick and I planned to attend the Rifqa Bary rally this past Monday. The banner announcing the event was posted on my site for a while and we were going to go out and support this young girl. However, on Thursday evening I was called to South Carolina. I left Friday morning and didn’t return until Wednesday.

Then as fate would have it, my plans to arrive early at the Sawmill Borders for a wristband securing my place in line for Friday’s Sarah Palin book signing didn’t happen either. I was asked to report to a “work health” center for a pre-employment drug screening. Who thought it would’ve taken 2 hours. Not me, so I missed out on one of the 1000 wristbands.

So that’s what I’ve been doing.

CAIR, ISNA and others trying to save face

Yesterday’s whine-o-gram was all about saving the reputation of CAIR, ISNA and the Dar al Hijrah islamic center. Anwar al Awlaki, a former Denver, San Diego and Falls Church imam, praised the Fort Hood jihadi while criticizing those muslim groups who paid lip service offered their condolences to the victims and condemned Nidal.

From the relative safety of Yemen, Anwar al Awlaki posted the following on his website (disabled overnight);


“Nidal Hassan is a hero. He is a man of conscience who could not bear living the
contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own
people. This is a contradiction that many Muslims brush aside and just pretend that it
doesn’t exist. Any decent Muslim cannot live, understanding properly his duties towards
his Creator and his fellow Muslims, and yet serve as a US soldier. The US is leading the
war against terrorism which in reality is a war against Islam. Its army is directly invading
two Muslim countries and indirectly occupying the rest through its stooges.”

“Nidal opened fire on soldiers who were on their way to be deployed to Iraq and
Afghanistan. How can there be any dispute about the virtue of what he has done? In
fact the only way a Muslim could Islamically justify serving as a soldier in the US army is if
his intention is to follow the footsteps of men like Nidal.”

“The heroic act of brother Nidal also shows the dilemma of the Muslim American
community. Increasingly they are being cornered into taking stances that would either
make them betray Islam or betray their nation. Many amongst them are choosing the
former. The Muslim organizations in America came out in a pitiful chorus condemning
Nidal’s operation.”

“The fact that fighting against the US army is an Islamic duty today cannot be disputed.
No scholar with a grain of Islamic knowledge can defy the clear cut proofs that Muslims
today have the right - rather the duty - to fight against American tyranny. Nidal has killed
soldiers who were about to be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in order to kill Muslims.
The American Muslims who condemned his actions have committed treason against the
Muslim Ummah and have fallen into hypocrisy.”

“Allah(swt) says: Give tidings to the hypocrites that there is for them a painful
punishment - Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek
with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allah entirely. (al-Nisa
136-137)”

“The inconsistency of being a Muslim today and living in America and the West in
general reveals the wisdom behind the opinions that call for migration from the West. It
is becoming more and more difficult to hold on to Islam in an environment that is
becoming more hostile towards Muslims.”

“May Allah grant our brother Nidal patience, perseverance and steadfastness and we ask
Allah to accept from him his great heroic act. Ameen"

Now we know how thin-skinned the ummah is and having a critique like this from an imam must be devastating to their already low self-esteem. But the responses are NOT aimed at the praise the former Dar al-Hijrah mosque imam bestowed upon brother Nidal. No, these muslims felt the need to defend their honor and refute the scurrilous hypocrisy accusation. And they do it by attacking his character and distancing themselves from any connection they may have had with the imam.

From Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center and mosque;

"As we understand the teaching of the scriptures, our mission and method as Americans of faith is to enrich our society with service, wisdom and beautiful preaching of God's love and mercy to all of mankind.

"We openly denounce the statement of Mr. Al-Awlaki as posted on his website. During Mr. Al-Awlaki's short employment at our center, his public speech was consistent with the values of tolerance and cooperation. After returning to Yemen, Mr. Awlaki now claims that the American Muslims who have condemned the violent acts of Major Hasan have 'committed treason against the Muslim Umaah [community] and have fallen into hypocrisy.'

"With this reversal, Mr. Al-Awlaki has clearly set himself apart from Muslims in America. We continue to send our condolences and prayers for recovery of all the victims of this godless act."

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today repudiated online remarks by a former Virginia imam praising Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who allegedly killed 13 people and wounded 29 others in a shooting spree last week at Fort Hood in Texas.

The posting on the web site of Anwar al-Awlaki called Hasan a “hero” and said American Muslim groups, like CAIR, that condemned the Fort Hood attack are “hypocrites” and traitors to Islam.

In a statement, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said: “As American Muslims said with one voice when this cowardly attack first occurred, no ideology could ever justify or excuse such violence. To call the alleged killer a ‘hero’ makes a mockery of every Islamic principle of justice. The twisted and misguided views in Anwar al-Awlaki’s posting are not those of American Muslims and do not reflect mainstream Islamic beliefs or sentiments.

Yep, the ummah has collectively condemned Nidal Hasan for the jihadi attack. Well, everyone but Duane.

And Obama; Don't jump to conclusions. Yet he had no problem "going there" and beyond when he arrived at the conclusion that the Cambridge police "acted stupidly".

Well, I believe "Duane" says it all. The ummah condones this act, even applauding it, because islam is at war with America. Period....
