CAIR action alert; Support CNAPI

Earlier this month, CAIR, the unindicted terror coconspirator issued an action alert aligning the upper echelon of the ummah with American policy. On June 10, 2008 a rouge group of pacifist congressmen joined forces with “people of conscience” urging unconditional talks with Iran.

CNAPI, Campaign for New American Policy on Iran, set up cold-war era “red hotline phones” with direct access to Iranian citizens. Participants, lead by loony leftist California congresswomen Lynn Woolsey and Barbara Lee, spoke with ordinary folks about ordinary issues. The
event was billed "an exercise in civilian diplomacy".

Isn't that just wonderful? Speaking with a nation that advocates the destruction of another, on America's dime. I wonder if any of those lines were tapped?

I look at something like this and wonder how long this country can sustain. If it's not the traitorous NYT and WaPo editors putting this country at risk, then it’s our elected officials going across the pond to meet with mideast dictators.

Terrorists caught on the battlefield are now given the benefit of doubt and deemed innocent until proven guilty. Enemy combatants have more human rights and are treated more compassionately than any of our fallen soldiers at the hands of those wishing to do America harm. Gitmo detainees leave the prison with all limbs, internal organs and their eyes intact. A privilege not afforded to our military when captured by these animals.

This type of behavior would never have been tolerated during WWII. Yet our government bends over backwards to accommodate the enemy living among us, dictating speech, policy and laws meant to protect America often benefit our adversary.

Let's not be too hasty. Even President Bush distinguishes between Ahmadinejad and the people of Iran, believing that the Iranian people want liberty and don't want the regime they currently have in power.

Even if he's right (and I suspect he is), how honest do Woolsey & Lee think the Iranians are going to be on a long-distance conversation with America when Big Iranian Brother could be tapping their phones?

Barbara Lee has been a loon for a long time.

Oh I agree Skye.

Most Iranians live in fear and would love to topple the regime and the nutter-in-chief. That said, could you imagine red hot-line phones linking Germans or Japanese citizens with Americans?

I find the anti-American actions such as this to be beyond the pale.

Good point! If only we could have understood the ordinary Krauts and Japs, World War II could have been so different--because the American people would have called for a stop to the bombing of "such nice people," and that would have let Hitler and Hirohito conquer Europe and Asia.

I swear Janice, I read some of this crazy stuff and my head just spins.

If those idiotic loons, Woolsey and Lee, actually believe they were talking to "ordinary Iranian citizens" on their precious little hotline phones I've got a bridge to sell them in Brooklyn.

To think of this bullshit going on during WW2 - it's just crazy.
