Continuing to expose CAIR

A recent article in the NYT, by Neil MacFarquhar, sent CAIR the much needed CPR in the court of public opinion. CAIR's flying imam lawsuit against US Airways, and unnamed passengers who reported their suspicious behavior, prompted many to look more closely at the group. The announcement brought much fanfare (and booted a CBN reporter) but failed to include these "John Does" in their statement. Word quickly spread once court filings were revealed and prompted House Republicans to protect ordinary citizens against harassment lawsuits. The fallout from such a suit could have a chilling effect on the public.

After 9/11 we were asked to be vigilant, to report suspicious activity. Cable installers, meter readers and ordinary citizens were called to action in the protection of this country. If this lawsuit allows CAIR to criminalize such deeds how many folks will think twice about informing the authorities about suspicious behavior?

The NTY article didn't go unaddressed. Steven Emerson, proprietor of CounterTerrorismBlog.org and terrorism expert, filled in the blanks left by MacFarquhar in his apologetic public relations piece for the radical Islamic front group. Emerson's expose', in The New Republic One Muslim advocacy group's not-so-secret terrorist ties points out a few of the nefarious activities the group has been engaged and tactics used to promote the islamic agenda. Pointing out the underlying plan of the flying imams lawsuit is to silence anyone who may want to report shady activities, causing apprehensive citizens to remain mute.

The splendor of islam

I'm not surprised the politically correct MSM decided this little incident unworthy of reporting. The headline read "Muslim pupils kill teacher". The story's a bit vague on the details of the motive and authorities are still investigating. "We have received information that a female teacher has been lynched by her students. We are investigating the report," Gombe state police commissioner Joseph Ibi said. Oluwatoyin Olusase, a Christian, was "adjudicating an Islamic Religious Knowledge exam" at the school when the incident occurred. Olusase was attacked outside the school compound. Reporters intimate she was beaten to death for desecrating the koran.

This behavior has become acceptable, the west seems to be immune. Headlines such as this go unnoticed and shrugged off as normal conduct for the islamic community. Muslims are offended, muslims "gone wild." The "blame America first" crowd has championed these actions "because we must have done something" to upset the ummah. Furthering the muslim victim mentality, normalizing the violent actions and reactions perpetrated in allah's name. Sympathizers all cry foul claiming these actions are of a "small" group who don't represent islam. Really? How can I believe otherwise when these monsters proclaim the deeds are, in fact, carried out for the glory of allah, islam and martyrdom?

The pope repeats an observation made centuries ago, that suggests islam has aggressive tendencies. Churches are firebombed, a nun is murdered and protest placards demand the papal head be severed from his body. Film maker Theo Van Gogh, the Danish cartoonist and the Gitmo koran scandal have all produced violence and murder by muslims.

I have no doubt, this would have been front page news if a group of Christian students attacked and murdered a muslim teacher. Is it because violence done in the name of islam has become so commonplace it's lost some of it's appeal in reporting?

CAIR warns muslims upset over FBI, Spencer invitation

The religion of peace and tolerance is upset because the FBI extend an invitation to author Robert Spencer. The FBI had planned to bring in Spencer this week to speak to Indiana's Joint Terrorism Task Force. Today's whine-o-gram calls Spencer an "islamophobe" who distorts its faith. CAIR and other muslim organizations have a long history of discrediting islamic critics and silencing those who CAIR perceive as a threat to their mission. Hiding behind bogus hate speech laws, spurious claims of religious intolerance and (taking a page from the liberal handbook on how to get you way in America) bringing lawsuits in an effort to advance their agenda in America.

TSA has given behind the scene tours to CAIR and other muslim community leaders and not an eyebrow is raised, but Robert Spencer speaking to the Terrorism Joint Task Force is unacceptable to the "ummah."

The Indy Star reported today the invitation has the muslim community "upset." Louay Safi, director of leadership development with the Plainfield-based Islamic Society of North America, said bringing Spencer in to talk of Islam is akin to bringing an anti-Semite to talk about Jews or a Ku Klux Klan member to talk about race."Many people in our community will not be happy with it," Safi said. And we know what happens when muslims are "unhappy" or believe islam has been insulted.

It seems to me, the CAIR whine-o-gram objective is to incite their recipients. Along with a link to the current "insult to the ummah," they include links to past Spencer offenses going back to 2003. When Pat Robertson stated the koran was "fraudulent" while interviewing Spencer in October of '06, CAIR thought it would be helpful to include a link to the video. Incorporating posts from a blog that keeps an eye on Spencers "jihadwatch" website, for shock value. There's no correlation between the any of these incidents. Why would CAIR mingle all these insightful tidbits in their daily whine-o-gram? To stimulate debate or inflame the ummah? Perpetuating the "victim" mentality and suppressing opposing views will keep CAIR in business.

CAIR boots reporters from press conference

Yes, the self-proclaimed American muslim civil rights group banned a CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) reporter from their press conference announcing their "flying imams" lawsuit. This little tidbit of information wasn't in any of their daily whine-o-grams and only Fox News briefly mentioned the incident. When asked why CBN was told leave, CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper said “We have long barred the CBN from our news conferences because of their long, long history of vicious anti-Muslim bigotry and we have no motivation to promote that kind of intolerance and it is a private function and we have decided that they are not welcome.”

This isn't the first time CBN has been given the boot by CAIR. In 2004 they were barred from the National Press Club and they even denied access to Washington Times reporter Audrey Hudson, who CAIR alleged has “a history of agenda-driven journalism on this particular issue” and that CAIR “had no obligation to admit her” because it was a private press conference. The first step to totalitarian rule in the US would be to eliminate the freedom of the press. And we all know that's the goal CAIR is looking to achieve. As you recall, CAIR believes "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth." Well, seems to me they're on their way to attaining that objective.

Isn't the "press" indicative of freedom here in America? Freedom of the press is one of our greatest liberties. It truely does keep us free. My blog could be shut down according to CAIR standards of reporting. If the rest of the journalist had a clue, they would have walked out in solidarity. But they didn't and apparently don't mind being used as media "tools" by CAIR to further their agenda.

MeThinks "we should bar the [islamo-fascists] from our country because of their long, long history of vicious, anti-[civilization] bigotry. And we have no motivation to promote that kind of intolerance. And it's [our country] and we have decided they are not welcome."

I find it ironic, not surprising , a group who claims to advocate for religious tolerance, is so intolerant. And I've come to expect nothing less from CAIR....

"This is a Pork Free express lane"

It seems most muslims in this country are failing to assimilate. The latest incident involves a Target cashier who refused to handle a package of bacon. In the first paragraph, immediately you’re made to think the customer is the villain. The Star Tribune in Minneapolis started the article this way “Beryl Dsouza was late and in no mood for delays when she stopped at a Target store after work two weeks ago for milk, bread and bacon.” Instantly creating hostility towards the true victim of this ridiculous act. This liberal rag sees nothing wrong with someone refusing to perform a task (for which she’s being paid to perform) and portrays the employee as the victim because a customer tries to purchase a pork product.

Local muslims are cultivating an islamic rich environment in Minnesota. Taxi drivers in that state also refused fares with dogs and alcohol. Imposing their beliefs and culture on the American people is the first step towards dhimmitude. Rather than assimilating to their host country, muslims continue to coerce the American public into making concessions to accommodate their religious and cultural traditions. Never pointing out the ridiculousness of the custom or practice, as in this case, when reporting the on the clash of cultures. When a 15 year old student in New Hampshire donned a burka to school, descriptions of her experience never included the repressive character indicative of concealing ones entire body. As a result of the experiment, teachers and school officials believe a class exploring Saudi Arabian history and culture will assist in eliminating “islamophobia” from their students.

Yes, just what we need, more education for the infidels!

PA finance minister warns "system is in a state of total disrepair"

Is this the Carter and Obama idea of an aid package? What are these middle eastern men training for? They don't have a country to defend. Looks to me like it could it be a terrorist, para-military training camp. No, these poor, oppressed people want peace with Israel, right?

Salam Fayyad, palestinian finance minister, has warned foreign donors that he has no idea where much of their money has been spent. The UK Telegraph reports that more than £362 million in aid money is unaccounted for and "the system is in a state of total disrepair." Even with the suspension of aid from the United States and the EU, money is flowing in the "terrorist motherland." Officials of the peoples party, hamas, have been bringing suitcases full of cash into Gaza. This money, obviously, hasn't been used to foster educational, health or welfare programs. Always crying "poor mouth" (as my mother would say) the international community can't chastise America and Israel enough for not supporting the democratically elected terrorist group hell-bent on the destruction of the state of Israel.

This comes as no shock to me. Recent IDF raids, in the West Bank, uncovered caches of weapons, explosives and the crudely fashioned homicide bombs used to maim and murder innocent Israelis. Do you think it's possible that's what the money was used for?

It's not bad enough we have (the worst American president), Jimma "put on a sweater and lower your thermostat" Carter, encouraging like-minded "peace activist" to circumvent the law and support the palestinian people, Barack Obama, speaking to a group of Democrats in Iowa, wants to relax restrictions on aid to the non-state of palestine. Obama said "Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people."

I beg the question, who's at fault for the lack of peace in the the region, Israel or the terrorist on the other side of the wall?

Nothing left to do, but unpack.....

We signed the final papers for our Cleveland house on Saturday and the title will transfer this Wednesday. Soon a new family will occupy the house we used to call home. Our house sold in 25 days, we are blessed! Now all that money I set aside for house payments can be spent on ceiling fans, a new washer (and get rid of "# 4") a vent-free gas fireplace and a Re-Bath shower make-over for the master bathroom. Need a new shower? Thought of going to Home Depot or Lowes for a DIY shower kit? Don't! Call Re-Bath instead. You'll save time and money, not to mention the beauty of the finished product. I can't say enough good things about the company and their products.

Anyway, I still have about 20 boxes in my basement to unpack. A lot of them were still packed from the last time we moved. Old toys and nick knacks that would yield a tidy profit at a garage sale. Last week I hung some pictures and rearranged my closet. It seems the more room you have the more you need and I wondered where all it all came from. An extra 200 square feet and one less person in the house and I'm struggling to find a place for everything. Good thing we have no immediate plans (or at least I don't, Nick would disagree) for the basement, the catch all place until we need it or store it. So far we can still use and walk around the pool table. When I start using it for storage Nick will come up with a plan to utilize the attic.

Today I have to venture out and grocery shop. I'll travel to Grove City, 20 minutes one way, to Giant Eagle. We have a Kroger store that's closer, but I have to visit the post office as well. I don't have a Kroger card yet and really don't want to stand in the customer service line and fill out the form that resembles a credit card application. The drive to Grove City isn't that bad, even with the 50 to 55 MPH speed limit. Horse farms and corn fields, a canoe park and satellite dishes, new construction developments along side century old homes and farms. It's really quite beautiful, like time stood still.

Housework, cooking and maintaining my blog. It's comforting to be back in a normal routine again. Pictures will be forthcoming as soon as I get more "stuff" in it's place. Right now, it's still a little disorganized and I'm still "discovering" the house.

CAIR incitement watch: Secular islam summit

Panties are bunching over at the CAIR headquarters this week. On Sunday, March 4th, a “Secular Islam Summit” began in Florida. The summit was organized in order to allow leading personalities in the anti-radical islamist movement to coordinate and have their voices heard on the issue of radical islam. Denouncing jihadism and the radical views that has, according to some, hijacked their religion. Reformation and freedom to question the religion that encompasses every aspect of ones life, was the the main topic. And the self-proclaimed American muslim civil rights group wasn't invited. Ahmed Bedier, CAIR-Florida and frequent youtube user, seems to disagree with the purpose of the forum, saying,

"In order to have a legitimate dialogue, you need to bring the players to the table, the Muslim organizations, the Muslim clergy. They’re already here in America to be able to bring that message." “…the Koran is in the same form as it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. The only version, true nature of the Koran is in the Arabic language…”

Does that mean if you're not a "CAIR" muslim you can't have an opinion on islam? Do they use a Saudi template to measure the type of muslim one should be? They're funded by the Saudi Arabians who adhere to the 7th century wahhabi sect, the most extreme forms of islam. If this conference is against the violence and evil that drives the "hijacked" dogma, why would CAIR oppose such dialogue? The rush to silence debate and questioning the credibility and agendas of those taking part seems to be the way CAIR operates. Representing victim-status and intimidating opponents has been a successful tactic for the RoP champions of CAIR. Dubbing the event an illegitimate “hate-fest” doesn’t address the issues plaguing the muslim community. Are violent acts of intolerance in islam’s name an acceptable tenet for CAIR?

Can it be CAIR is finally being exposed for the agenda driven authority opperating with the freedoms they're trying to deny others? We'll just have to wait and see....
