Why the veil.......

As an imam "down under" tells us, "...The woman was behind Satan playing a role when she disobeyed God and went out all dolled up and unveiled and made of herself palatable food that rakes and perverts would race for. She was the reason behind this sin taking place."
During Friday sermons, Sheikh Taj Din Al Hilaly, has been preaching against Australian rape laws. Claiming a woman is responsible for being raped because she may wear a short skirt or put on make-up. Comparing a rape victim to a kilo of meat left unattended and eaten by cats.
The translation to a recent sermon also claims us infidels will end up in hell, "They are the worst in God's creation."
Now I see why the veil. Men who follow the religion of peace have no carnal self-control and can't be expected to act in a manner consistent with those of western men. Again we see an example of how special muslims are and an effort to explain away their unacceptable behavior. They're not responsible for the acts they commit, it's in the koran. If a woman is unveiled and I'm unable to control my hormones, I have to rape her. Makes perfect sense to me. That's why we need CAIR in America to point out how special muslims are and the need for "people of the book" to tolerate their unlawful behavior.

The religion of peace "unveils" the truth when you read the transcript. I can't believe this school of thought is accepted in this day and age. They truly are right out of the 7th century.

I think islam is in need of a major reformation.... NOW!

Great post Janice.

I was wondering when this story would find itself on your blog, Janice.

To make this a short comment, I agree totally with you that this man (sheik al whatever) is a disgrace. He's a disgrace to his religion, my country and the human race.

But, to be fair, it's probably worth noting that the story has been received extremely strongly here in Australia, and most of the ridicule hurled in the man's direction have come from Muslims. Rightly so, in my opinion. So, say what you want about this man and his deluded philosophies (if you can call them that), but it's not entirely fair to lump his comments in with the entire Muslim community.

Kay?

janice said...

No not "kay." This is the islamic mindset. If it wasn't, why then the veil? Men who follow the RoP can't even go to mosque and pray in the same room because allah and their pedophile prophet think they'll think about sex and not allah.

No again, not "kay." I'm a modest woman and don't believe I need to be covered from head to toe so I won't get raped. They're taking the responsibility of self control from the muslim man and placing it on the woman. Are muslim men to sex starved they truly can't control themselves?

This imam aside, he's only echoing the belief muslims hold. If not, why hasn't the out-cry from moderate muslims been published? Only comments of support for the imam?

Why hasn't this imam at least been brought in for questioning? Don't they have hate speech laws down under?

Anonymous said...

I disagree with you Janice on a number of points, but let's leave it there, shall we?

Robert,

Grey area. While there are laws which expressly forbid incitement of violence against groups/individuals, no laws against "hate speech" as such exist in our lawbooks.

See, we have this thing called freedom of speech, which covers everything, including the hateful and stupid rants of idiots like Al Hilali.

Freedom is a double edge sword, in that respect.

janice said...

Jacob, please tell me what points you disagree with.

I'm wondering if you agree muslim men are different (special) from other men. Why do they rape unveiled muslim women as opposed to Catholic or Jewish women whom are never veiled? Or, are muslim women so desirable they need to be covered from head to toe?

Anonymous said...

No. Your opinion is not likely to change, and I can see that already.

janice said...

How am I going to look at this in a different light if you don't "try" to change my mind?

Anonymous said...

No, I think I'll leave it there. I've already articulated my thoughts on this page, and in other blogs, and what I've already told you is all that I've got to say.

If you actually bother to visit the blogs of your regular commentors, you'll see that I've taken the liberty of delivering a nice, juicy diatribe against idiots like Hilaly.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Oops... I said thanks twice.

Well, double thanks then.

Jacob,

No, a play on words. (You thanked her twice.)

OMG I'm so stupid.

Carry on.

Jacob, I found the link you posted on the imam(s) most entertaining. You're very talented. I also believe you understand the threat we're facing.

I agree that we agree, but I think the point you're missing is that these imams have very large followers. If the school of thought being taught by these guys is taken seriously, like Chris said on an earlier topic, we have a very big problem on both our hands. Don't kid yourself into thinking it won't happen to "me," granted, these jihadist will get to know you and most likely think you're swell. They're still going to lop your head off.

That said...again....
I'm not trying to bash muslims, I think you know that and just come around to stir the (stink) pot. I'm just pontificating on what I see as a slow erosion of my culture in place of theirs all in the name of equality, multinationalism and tolerance.

Our tolerance of their intolerance will get us killed.....

Well, I'm glad that you took time to read it. It's probably not my most articulate work, but that's what you get when you're pissed off.

I think the point you're missing is that these imams have very large followers.

I don't know if that's true or not, but the Muslims that I speak with are all as pissed off as I am at this man. I would trust these people's opinion over anything that the MSM tells me any day.

Jacob - I wish the muslims that you "hang" with would speak up. The world needs to hear the outrage from the moderate islamic community. If they don't they'll be lumped in with the radicals.

I really did like your post.....

Now Janice is the one who is two polite for words...

Um, they do speak up.

janice said...

Thanks Skye, I'm not quite sure how that happened. We bought a new computer, so I'm going to blame it on the Gateway.

Jacob - moderate voices aren't being heard in America. If CAIR continues to be the self proclaimed representative of American muslims, then I have no choice than to believe this extreme version of islam.
