MSU publishes mohammad cartoons

I tip my hat to MSU, (even though my loyalties belong to OSU). These brave Spartan defenders of the first amendment have published the mohammad cartoons and jihadis in Michigan have their panties in a bunch. The president of the Lansing muslim American society said "We need to differentiate between freedom of speech and respect for each other". Isn't it funny we are free to print and publish anything so long as it isn't offensive to islam. Why do we hold muslims to a lower standard? I mean, we expect them to act like murderous thugs when they're upset, offended or other wise unable to get their way. Why does the world "tippy toe" around these people and treat them like they are due anymore respect than any other group of people? These people aren't special in any other means save their inability to behave in a rational manner. And the world continues to reward this behavior and silently marches to dhimmitude.

why have we only been seeing these 3rd rate cartoons on the web and not in the MSM?

THEY ARE CARTOONS PEOPLE! MAYBE THE MEDIA WANTS TO REPORT THE NEWS

Great post, Jancan.
Doing the "tippy-toe" thing just isn't the American way.

OK, it looks like I'm a little late coming into this conversation, but I've gotta giggle. Anonymous is too funny!

Millions of Americans read the newspapers just for the comics, so the notion that the media only reports news is a bit silly.

Not to mention that these cartoons are the news.

if you're reading the newspapers just for the comics then you can watch tv just for the commercials
