Minnesota is on the march to "Dhimmitude"

What do you get when a librarian puts a koran in box decorated with construction paper?

Sensitivity training for the entire staff and a muzzle for the teacher. That's right, in an effort to teach students the perils of censorship a Roseville Minnesota high school librarian upset a muslim student. As part of his presentation, the librarian took a stack of books, including the koran, and put them in a box decorated with "fire" like construction paper. The simple implication that the koran would be burned was enough to cause this student "pain". Once the student come forward with her complaint, the school system immediately issued the obligatory apology and advised the teacher not to comment. Before CAIR could pile on this heap, authorities announced the entire staff would undergo sensitivity training. Wasn't that the meaning behind the censorship lesson? American's have a right in this country to offend without being censored. But the other students were denied the benefit of learning a valuable citizenship lesson. What do the students think of censorship now, islamic sensitivity trumps our freedoms and rights? That's what I learned.
I see a pattern developing in this country. The liberal left, in an effort to turn America into Europe [except when it comes to nuclear energy] are so eager to appease these people hoping they will someday reciprocate and assimilate as millions of minorities have in the past. This is a moonbat pipe dream, they will never assimilate and tolerate the values of other's. Methods used in Europe to gain special rights and privileges by muslims won't be used here. As you can see muslims are using our own laws and judicial system to obtain what they desire. Little by little they are picking up speed and gaining ground in this battle. Sanity and common sense is been interpreted as ignorance and intolerance. America is being forced to elevate the muslim populous by legal proxy. In the end the muslim parasite will kill their American host.

Several weeks ago on my program we discussed a case from Byron, California where 7th grade students were assigned as part of a class project (at a public high school) to "become Muslim." From the account:

"Students study the Koran, recite from it, design a title page for it, and write verses of it on a banner. They act out Islam's Five Pillars of Faith, including giving zakat (Islamic alms) and going on the pilgrimage to Mecca. They also build a replica of the "sacred Kaaba" in Mecca or another holy building.

It goes on. Seventh graders adopt the speech of pious believers, greeting each other with "assalam aleikoom, fellow Muslims" and using phrases such as "God willing" and "Allah has power over all things."

They pronounce the militant Islamic war-cry, Allahu akbar ("God is great.") They must even adopt Muslim mannerisms: "Try a typical Muslim gesture where the right hand moves solemnly... across the heart to express sincerity."

This is in a public high school. Pause for just a second and consider what would happen if I, as a public high school teacher, announced a project where all my students (Muslims, Jews, atheists included) had to "become Christian." I brought in communion, took them to the pool to be baptized, made them memorize and recite Biblical passages.

How quickly do you suppose the left would descend upon me? It's absolutely ridiculous.

peter, you are so correct in your statement. it makes me sick to think that we, as Americans, have to bend over backwards for this religion. Christians and Jews of this country are taking a back seat to this Islamic BS that is destroying outr nation. More power to you my brother!

Thanks for your comment Peter. You are so right. I heard about that muslim "lesson" and I almost fell off my chair. Where was the MSM? Where was the parental outcry? Where was the ACLU (Anti-Christian-Liars-Union)? And the biggest anti-christian of them all, Barry Lynn & the gang were no where to be found either. We've got to start standing up for our American way of life before we find our daughters burka clad and our sons being fitted for a charming vest of explosives.

I agree with all the above comments. But my question this: What do we do about this and other issues that we and so many others agree on? Peter has his radio show and web site; Janice has this blog; I have my blog; Chris Malott has his, and so do thousands of other who think like us. Still, these things continue to happen, and the masses are left unaware because they still receive their news through the MSM.

Thanks Bryan, I am amazed at the number of people who are so myopic. A true grassroots effort is needed to spread the word. Talking with co-workers even family members, involve yourself in local politics. We must beat them at their own game.
