And what a waste of taxpayer money, not to mention the disappointment to the kids.

It tells you they hate our guts. And no wonder, after The One spent the past 9 months telling the world how awful we were before his Oneness came along and changed all that. Maybe the world only listened to the "awful" part of what he said...

Personally, I think it was the right decision, as where in the Chicago area would they have had the venues? They were already speaking with people in St. Louis, MO for hosting Soccer games, etc. Now, last time I checked, St. Louis is NOT in Chicago.
In all honesty, I laughed when I heard we were voted off first. Even Oprah's millions couldn't buy off the committee!
