Finally, my new house!
It appears blogger doesn't hate me after all and has allowed me to upload a picture of my new house. The bird flying amid the blizzard, captured in the photo, has to be a good sign. We close on the 23rd of February and take possession 48 hours later. The movers arrive on March first and will deliver my "stuff" on the second. It's 3 hours away, I don't understand why the delay in delivery. Thank goodness I'm not leaving the state! So, I'll pack a bag with 3 days worth of clothes, toiletries and dog food just in case the movers get lost. Anyone who knows me, understands that not many things go smoothly where I'm involved. But that's a post for another time, for now the waters look calm.

It looks fabulous!
If the bird were a vulture (which it's definitely not), I'd take it as a bad sign. So you must be right about it being a good sign.
Isn't the waiting the hardest thing?
Thanks Skye, I'm trying to post pics of the inside also (when blogger will let me)!
The waiting and selling of this house. I don't want to pay 2 mortgages for more than 6 months.
But, everyone says I'm getting worried for nothing and this house will sell fast.
I just worry to much about everything.
The house looks really nice, Janice! I'd be excited to move as well.
I have a feeling that the time will fly with all the packing and moving sort of "stuff" that has to get done opver the next month or so.
It does seem a bit crazy that the movers are taking 2 days to move 3 hours away...but then I've never used movers in an out-of-town experience. Good luck and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers that all will go smoothly.
Thank you for the prayers Christina, Skye and everyone who lift me and my family up in their devotions. Some days I believe it's those prayers that help me make it through the day.
Time is flying, it's already the end of January!
Any news on your potential move? Did Andrew hear anything yet? Keep us in the loop.
With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, I see no problem with me coming to visit - or moving in for that matter should my fortunes change.
I like my breakfast at 6AM.
Not a problem Chris. I would love to have you visit my new home.
As for breakfast at 6am, only if it's coffee and cereal. An adequate meal would take much more time, say 7am? You could workout in the basement. The sellers are leaving a treadmill and "Bowflex" type workout station. Eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy could be waiting for you, after you shower of course.
If you spend your retirment funds on "Worlds of Warcraft" I would have to talk to my husband about housing a former "humble blogger" turned fantasy gamer.
Ha! I'll get your husband hooked on World of Warcraft and you'll never see him again.
I guess I'll be the early riser in the family so I'll do the cooking. Biscuits from scratch, gravy, and omelets. You can clean up.
It's a deal!
Don't forget to pack a few dozen jars of those beautiful tomatoes, onions and whatever else you've put up for the winter.
