Northeast Intelligence Network is reporting on the 2 USF student jihadis who were picked up in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The 7 count superseding indictment includes providing material support to terrorism and illegal possession of a firearm.
I wonder what CAIRs Ahmed Bedier has to say now about these two “really naïve kids". Ahmed Mohamed is charged with all 7 counts and Megahed is being charged with counts three and four.
The Count Charges of Superseding Indictment and Maximum Term of Imprisonment
1) Proving material support to terrorism,Title 18, United States Code, Section 2339A 15 years
2) Distributing information which teaches and demonstrates the making or use of explosives,Title 18, United states Code, Section 842(p)(2)(A) 20 years
3) Transporting explosive materials in interstate commerce without the requisite federal license Title 18, United States Code, Section 842(a)(3)(A) 10 years
4) Possession of a destructive device without the proper registration Title 26, United States Code, Section 5861(d) 10 years
5 & 6) Illegal possession of a firearm by a non-immigrant alien, Title 18, United States Code, Section 922(g)(5)(B) 10 years for each count
7) Carrying a destructive device during and in relation to a crime of violence,Title 18, United States Code, Section 924(c)(1)(A) Life
I hope this is televised on Court TV.

Do you know if they are being held without bail?
I believe ahmed mohamed waived his right to bail and youssef megahed was denied bail.
I believe he (megahed) could have been released and put on house arrest for $200,000.00. But it was denied because he poses a flight risk danger to the community.
What I wouldn't give to be on this jury - I guess just saying that would disqualify me though. Too bad. Ahmed would definitely be looking at life. And Megahed (dang, I do like that name.) would be looking at back-to-back ten year terms for sure.
They won't be naive for long in the joint!
