Ouch Jancan. That comment is a bit harsh. Is having a passion for your work and a desire to help others anti American and anti-Israel? Maybe I’m under some grand illusion here, but I have always preferred to think that America was all about helping others. I don’t know your views and the war, but either way wasn’t the war “supposedly” waged to “help” the Iraqi people? Was the over throwing of Saddam not meant to “help” Iraq? Also, how is a concern for the plight of others anti Israel? If being pro Israel means the unquestioned destruction of all who reach out to people of different views then count me out. One last thing that I must point out is the way you vilify anti-war sentiment. I find that rather scary and the utmost disturbing. To end this post on a good note, I will add that I love the before picture of Carroll on this blog. It’s shameful that such a beautiful and kindhearted soul would be treated in such a way.
The comment may be harsh but true. Some facts you need to know, Jill was in Iraq as a reporter, she was not lending a hand to the iraqis as an aid worker. I do not wish her ill, I'm just pointing out the obvious line of thinking those in the media.

Pretty much says it all. She looks pathetic in that second photo. I bet she blames Bush if she gets out alive.
I agree. Even though she works for the Christian Science Monitor, her veiws are anti-Israel, anti-war and anti-American. Thanks for the comment
