IBD's Jimmy Carter a Profile in Incompetence
Carter, who can't seem to keep his pie-hole closed, has critiqued every president who's taken office following what I consider the lowest point in America since the civil war. The affirmation stunned those who could remember the administration with a 21.98% (June 1980) misery index. Talk about "the pot calling the kettle black".
IBD has an exclusive 10-part series looking back on Carter's presidential term. "Installments will cover the economy, foreign policy, human rights, dealing with dictators, fighting Communism and the Democratic leadership in general during times of war". The previous segments (1 thru 6) are available here. In the first installment I read this line and it took me back to 1978. Watching the leader of the free world chastise the people who were suffering under his leadership. My father was a steel worker, I remember him going from 7 to a 3 day work week. Because my parents lived debt free, we were able to eat and make the house payment. Vacations were rare and often were spent at a relatives house out of town. But I digress. IBD writes, "the man whose idea of leadership was to sit in front of a fireplace and blame everything on America's "malaise"." Carter "took a bad economy and made it worse" as outlined in the second installment. But Jimmah has a short memory when he gives his appraisal of other presidents.
The series will jar your memory and take you back to a not so happy time. Four years of blaming the American people for his failures in the White House and spineless finger pointing wrapped around economic mismanagement. Thanks Jimmah, for all the memories.

Free or Hate speech, what's the difference?
If you roll a pig head into a mosque, it's a hate crime. You throw a ham steak (in a paper bag) on the lunchroom table, it's a hate crime. Supporting Israel causes distress to muslims in America and rallies are violently disrupted.
If you doubt the islamic religion, and openly question their prophet or publish a cartoon depicting him, it's hate speech. A film calling the oppressive nature of islam, or an oration by the pope expressing the views of a Byzantine emperor are cause for worldwide demonstrations and riots. One can espouse the elimination of a nation in front of their embassy (in NYC) and champion their violent dominance of the world. A world leader can stand at a lectern in the UN and advocate the destruction of a member nation. All protected.
Another example of bizarre-o world
In a hotel in Galveston you can claim stress caused you to put your 2 month old daughter in a microwave when putting her in the fridge and hotel safe didn't make her stop crying. After all this you can petition the court for (once she recovers) the child to be given back to the parents. But you need to pass a series of tests before one can legally drive. A father and brother can slit the throat a female family member because she dishonored the clan. Because their religion absolves them, no incarceration for the disgraced murderers.
Its political correctness gone wild and tolerance only applies to radicals and non-conformist. Dialogue is nonexistent and only the most extreme aspect is promoted. The majority is expected to be silent and tolerant without the same courtesy being extended. Tolerance seems to be an initiative offered to one group and required of another.

I've been vindicated, maybe....
The Pew Research Center poll finds (depending on who spins it for you) "Troubling" views on suicide bombers, this from the SF Gate, who twisted the numbers to put a happy face on the findings, 78% of American muslims are opposed to the murderous acts. That still leaves 22% (about half a million muslims) who approve (or refused to answer). It should be 100% oppose! That's why we taxpayers fork over a million dollars a bomb, they don't target innocent civilians, they're smart bombs!
The simple answer should be NEVER, is it a positive when someone targets innocent people for murder in search of martyrdom and virgins in paradise. I call that evil, pure and simple.
The 102 page poll was sobering. This isn't a hijacked religion, as terror apologists would have us believe. Since 9/11 we've been fed a steady diet of "beware of the backlash" every time American law enforcement pick up some muslims on a terror indictment. Muslim civil rights groups, the self appointed mouthpieces, refusing to see a problem in the islamic community and blame poverty, lack of education or the Jews for the ills plaguing their image. The mosques and imams, korans and hadiths all preach the same hate as their pan-jihadist brothers and sisters around the world.

Too much time on my hands
As you can see, I have a new desk mate in my office. Well, this picture was taken in my kitchen but the "Blog Hog" was returned to his place of prominence on my desk shortly after the photo was snapped. Safe and sound next to my Boca Java Bloggers Fuel mug full of pens. Anyway, I came upon this swine while searching for picture wire in Michael's. They were on sale, of course, so I bought a 3 pack and a smaller version of my desk hog.
How would I adorn my omnivore? Pearls, a silk purse, maybe some lipstick. All great ideas, but how do I make my embellishments stick to this boar? Well, the store clerk said I also had to purchase "special" pig decorating markers so the images would be permanent, (these crafty types take their jobs so seriously).
My unemployment has given me some extra time, you know, to decorate piggy banks. One would think the up keep on my 1820 square foot "palatial estate" would leave me little time for much else. The day to day operations of my side business takes up a couple hours, and I'm reading a book a week. The dog has resumed his daily routine of sleeping all day, it seems the novelty of me being home with him has worn off. So my house is clean and the laundry is done, I guess maintaining my blog on a daily basis could fill my otherwise empty days. But the ache in my shoulders is intense, even with percocet and kadian, if I spend more than a few hours at the keyboard. So until I have the surgery, on both wrists, I have to limit my online time. I cook every day and you can only do so much shopping, being unemployed and all.
What else can fill my day... taps finger on desk? I know, I'll decorate little piggy banks! Yes fellow bloggers, I have too much time on my hands.

CAIR finally has "Fort Dix Six" backlash victim
And right on cue, an islamophobe attacked a New Jersey muslim. CAIR-NJ will hold a news conference on Friday about the alleged assault and a witness will be in attendance. CAIR officials believe the assault was provoked by the arrests of six islamic radicals who were apprehended for "allegedly" planning to attack Fort Dix. (Yes, we Americans are a blood-thirsty bunch!) The victims attorney says “she’s going to need counseling now,” and “she’s afraid to leave her house.” Poor woman, how would this have played out in an islamic country? She surely wouldn't be driving alone to the laundromat.
And here we have CAIR, "Johnny on the spot," issuing a statement (not unlike Jesse or Al) stirring the stink pot, crying foul and demanding "justice" for their victim.
CAIR-NJ officials believe the assault may have been prompted by the recent arrests of six Muslims who were allegedly plotting to attack Fort Dix. The alleged assailant reportedly shouted: “You (expletive) Muslims are here to bomb this country, you should all die. I want to kill all of you Muslims.” At the news conference, CAIR-NJ will commend local law enforcement authorities for how they have handled the case so far and will ask that the alleged perpetrator be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
This account is eerily similar to the reported "backlash" the muslim community suffered after the "Flight 93" movie opened across the country. I posted on it here, here and here. I'm going to make a prediction, this "backlash" and the "witness" is going to all be connected somehow to CAIR.
Douglas J. Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, will be keeping an eye on this as events develop following the press conference on Friday. This muslim civil rights group has nefarious intentions and must be scrutinized.

Disney says hamas mouse is "pure evil"
Diane Disney Miller felt disgusted by a Mickey rip-off being used by hamas to encourage palestinian children to take up arms against Israel and America. “Of course I feel personal about Mickey Mouse, but it could be Barney as well,” Ms Miller, 73, told the New York Daily News.
“It’s not just Mickey, it’s indoctrinating children like this, teaching them to be evil,” said Ms Miller, who owns a winery in northern California.
“The world loves children and this is just going against the grain of humanity.”
I'm sure most of you have heard about this abomination in the media. If you haven't seen the video clips I suggest viewing them at least once, they're quite disturbing. Those liberal, blame America first peace-niks who continue searching for the root cause of worldwide terrorism, still don't get it and retreat into conspiracy theories trying to tie this to the Mossad.
Some people wouldn't recognize evil even if it hacked their head off!

CAIR condemns NY six, warns of "anti-muslim backlash"
"Based on the information gathered in this case, it seems clear that a potentially deadly attack has been averted. We applaud the FBI for its efforts and repeat the American Muslim community's condemnation and repudiation of all those who would plan or carry out acts of terror while falsely claiming their actions have religious justification.
We continue to urge American Muslims to be vigilant in reporting any suspected criminal activities that could harm the safety and security of our nation.
CAIR also requested that media outlets and public officials refrain from linking this case to the faith of Islam.
And here's the money quote;
The council asked mosques and Islamic institutions in New Jersey and nationwide to report any incidents of anti-Muslim backlash."
Yes, the dreaded backlash, Americans have repeatedly sought vengeance against the islamic community when these acts of terror come to light, right?
CAIR is on a campaign to separate these self-proclaimed jihadis from the islamic religion. When you read the indictment it becomes crystal clear these muslims intended to inflict terror in the name of islam. That's the conclusion I came to in spite of the forced double speak imposed on law enforcement officials. The liberal leaning MSM serves CAIR well by manipulating the facts and using semantics to cloud the true issue. By their own admission these 6 men are islamic terrorists. Does anyone have the testicular fortitude to call a spade a spade?

CAIR is looking for victims
One new battleground is the public school system. When the Maine AG decided not to prosecute the flying ham steak or deem the incident a hate crime, the search for victims was shifted to Minnesota where CAIR seems to have struck gold. Allegations that muslim students at Westwood Middle School were taunted and CAIR claims their complaint was mishandled by school staff when complaints by the parents were ignored when the "sensitivity" training never happened. The series of alleged anti-muslim incidents began, conveniently enough, on September 11, 2006. It's a good thing the newly created Minnesota chapter was there to protect these victims.
It’s been my observation; CAIR’s entire existence is to enlighten muslims to their oppression in America, perpetuating the victim mentality. Preventing the necessary assimilation previous minorities have achieved.
How do the Amish, orthodox Jews, Jehovah's witness and the Mennonite communities thrive in this country without imposing their culture on the American public? We have yet to attend sensitivity training for any of these groups and yet they seem to find a way to get around the daily obstacles that interfere with their traditions and customs. The muslim community needs to extend the tolerance they so forcefully expect from Americans.

CAIR - Pulling the wool again!
CAIR is the Jesse Jackson of the muslim community, always the victim. Since 9/11 they've been tracking "hate-crime" incidents against muslims in America, and try as they might, America as a whole is not a blood-thirsty, vengeful nation. The numbers aren't representative of the noise CAIR makes on a weekly basis, and they're concerned. An audio transcript of a speech given by Nihad Awad, CAIR Executive Director, at the ADAMS Center in Virginia on April 30th of this year. Awad expresses concern over low numbers and even more concern that the Jewish community have reported thousands of hate-crime cases verses a few dozen reported against muslims, believing the Jews are better at reporting discrimination cases than muslims.
It's a very telling speech and Awad knows without a victim CAIR has no reason to exist in America.
